There is an option to load drivers if the operating system cannot be found. Otherwise, if the IDE controller like my SiI card isn’t supported by Microsoft’s IDE controller driver that comes on the Windows CD, Setup won’t even find the hard disk—you will need to either slipstream the driver into the installation image and burn the slipstream Windows installation CD, or use an F6 floppy carrying your IDE controller’s driver.
I am also using the DS3L version, newest bios.

I know mine doesn’t work. I was able to decouple the raid through the windows version of MSM and see the files on the drives, but to restore the mirror I had to blank both drives and start over.

Posted August 5, I really don’t want to format the hard drive only have 1 gb hard drive which isn’t partitioned with windows vista installed on it as I have a lot of important things on the drive which aren’t backed up!
But after it dropped out of the rais process, I simply entered a workstation name as Butterfly youngest daughter and the automated install continued after that with no problems. Since I couldn’t get the SATA drivers to be recognized with a floppy drive they were missing a txtoem. I’m making speculation here, just trying to figure out this strange behavior. I had the mirror crash early on in my build, ontel the Intel MSM software started rebuilding arid other drive, but when I rebooted it was totally munged both drives.
